Every year, Guerlain’s Aqua Allegoria perfumes are eagerly awaited. They are a kind of tradition, initiated by Jean-Paul Guerlain in 1999. Their ambition? Evoke a refreshing garden through fresh and delicate raw materials. Aqua Allegoria are more than just fragrances. They are compositions rich in poetry, filled with smiles and gaiety. Once again, Guerlain’s adventure is renewed in 2021. The brand gives birth to Aqua Allegoria Flora Salvaggia, an essence composed like a field of wild flowers.
Flora Salvaggia, the poetry of an expanse of flowers
Aqua Allegoria Flora Salvaggia is a fragrance that puts us in the skin of a bee, the undisputed symbol of the Guerlain family. Like this major insect of biodiversity, discover an immensity of flowers and browse all the scent of spring! The ambition of this perfume? “To draw from nature, with respect, what it has most beautiful”. Aqua Allegoria Flora Salvaggia by Guerlain is a revitalizing and poetic eau de toilette, developed like a wild floral bouquet, itself resting on a cloud of white musks.
The fresh and floral composition of Aqua Allegoria Flora Salvaggia
Aqua Allegoria Flora Salvaggia begins with an aromatic and green breath, intermixing violet and watermelon. This reinforces the purity of this essence, while adding a more anise-flavored part. While a somewhat mechanical stiffness is felt in its start, it gradually fades, giving way to a much more floral and powdery accord. It is then that jasmine, orange blossom and wild flowers appear. This spring picking finally ends with the luxurious iris, associated with notes of white musks… Enough to get lost in nature!
A Guerlain perfume to personalize
So that everyone can obtain a perfume that resembles them, Guerlain also invites users of Aqua Allegoria Flora Salvaggia to make a tailor-made and personalized fragrance. For this, you are free to mix it with another fragrance from the same range, such as Bergamotte Calabria, Rosa Rossa, Granada Salvia or Flora Cherrysia. Choose your duo and successively perfume yourself with the two essences of your choice.
The iconic Guerlain bottle is tinged with mauve
Like all perfumes from the Aqua Allegoria collection , Flora Salvaggia presents itself in a modern reinterpretation of the iconic Bee Bottle. Created for the very first time in 1853, to accommodate the Eau de Cologne Impériale, it is one of the most famous containers in the history of perfumery. Modernized by sculptor Robert Granai, it preserves its cylinder shape surmounted by a dome. This one is decorated with a golden honeycomb carving. The transparency of this glass case allows us this time to glimpse a mauve color, which is reminiscent of field flowers such as borage, chicory, cornflower or violet. Finally, the whole is accompanied by a very floral decor designed by the American street artist Michael De Feo.
